Time for another playlist! The summer holiday is in full swing, meaning plenty of time to enjoy a healthy dose of music. When you are 10km up in the air, lying on the beach or taking an evening stroll. I'm not much of a summer hits person (occasionally there is one I like, but so far I haven't found one this year), so don't expect a full on sunny vibe here. In fact the list is dominated by some Burberry protegees, so say hello to rainy London.
RHODES Close Your Eyes - I liked him a year ago, when he was supporting for Sam Smith, accompanying himself on the guitar. During Burberry Prorsum's latest menswear show, he truly mesmerized me with the backing of an orchestra. WALK THE MOON Shut Up And Dance - This feel-good anthem has been one of my favourite songs for months now PALOMA FAITH Only Love Can Hurt Like This - Another artist that made an impression on me during a Burberry Prorsum show. Paloma Faith did it a while ago, but I kind of rediscovered her song the other day. IMAGINE DRAGONS Polaroid - It's my favourite song off their new album! EDITH PIAF La Vie En Rose - A brilliant evergreen that transports me right back to Paris. JAMES BAY If You Ever Want To Be In Love - I love all of his album, I picked this song quite randomly. James is the third and last artist on this list to sing during a Burberry show. HAIM Forever - Yes, I am not still not over Haim's 'Forever'. RIHANNA, KANYE WEST, PAUL McCARTNEY FourFive Seconds - Sometimes you have to acknowledge something you maybe wouldn't really want to. Saying Kristen Stewart was actually very good in Still Alice is one. Saying you like a Kanye West song another. JAMES BAY Hold Back The River - Although I like all of 'Chaos And The Calm' I guess Bay's biggest hit is also my personal favourite.
