But then today I was invited to Agnès B's menswear show. Much more than Henrik Vibskov a traditional runway show with actual wearable clothes in this very French style I see on Parisian guys every day here. Part of the collection was in very neutral tones and rather classic combinations and another part was full of playful prints and vibrant colours. Being a continuation of recent summer trends, this collection and the show are hardly groundbreaking, but I have to say it was a good collection nevertheless. And one that, at least by the men here in France, will actually be worn. My favourite look? The one top left.
Paris Men's Fashion Week: Agnès B
Back in March I got a confirmation for a major show during the womenswear ready-to-wear week. I never got the actual invitation, so my first Paris Fashion Week experience was put on hold. Last friday however, I got my Paris Fashion Week debut with the Henrik Vibskov show. The Danish ballet, who performed then, stole the show though. And because the show was held on a square in the middle of Paris, an invitation wasn't strictly necessary to see some of it.
