Giambattista Valli Haute Couture FW13

Elie Saab definitely isn't the only one who knows to make some very pretty dresses and gowns. Giambattista Valli knows it pretty good too! I don't think however I should compare the two too much, for I think the latter is way more experimental and has much more different collections than Elie Saab. Not that I like one more over the other.

For this collection Valli found inspiration in porcelain. From his very own Meissen porcelain, to good ol' China and my own homecountry's Royal Delft Pottery. It did all translate very well into a beautiful collection with remarkably many short dresses for a Haute Couture show. You won't hear me complain. And again, I expect to see many of these pieces on the red carpets.
