Couture Week Fall 2012: Armani Privé, Elie Saab, Giambattista Valli, Azzedine Allaïa and Jean Paul Gaultier

Due to my lack of planning skills, I have to write this (Haute) Couture post days after Couture week ended in Paris. But I really wanted to say a little something about it. I'm not going to write real reviews just a few short things!

Armani Privé
After Armani's latest, very futuristic collection (which I didn't like so much, except for Celine Dion's Oscar gown) here's this beautiful "Hommage to Japan", which I do like very much!

Elie Saab
Again a showstopping collection. Many of these dresses will be seen on the red carpet!
Giambattista Valli
I loved the red gown designed by Giambattista Valli, worn by Doutzen Kroes to The Met Gala last May. His first ever Couture collection is even better than just that gown.
Azzedine Alaïa
A glorious return to the runway!
Jean Paul Gaultier
Couture for men? Could it work? Commercially not, but artistically I think it could!
