Paris Fashion Week: Christian Dior, Roland Mouret and Zac Posen

I told you I would write about the shows in Paris too, so here are my first couple of reviews.

Christian Dior
Dior has fired Galliano after his anti-Semitic comments. It was, without question, the right thing to do, though it’s creatively undoubtedly a great loss. Because of this scandal, I find it almost difficult to say once more that I absolutely adore Galliano’s work. He has designed some of the most beautiful collections and this collection too is fantastic. I can only hope Christian Dior will find a new creative director, talented as Galliano but with less risqué behaviour…
 Roland Mouret
Victoria Beckham’s designs have often been compared to Roland Mouret’s. I absolutely see what is meant, though I think both designers are great. Silhouette is the keyword and the chosen colours are simply magnificent. Loved it!

Zac Posen
First, yeah Crystal Renn again! She’s fierce! Then the main thing, the designs, haha. Posen is trying to kind of change his image. That’s why this show is maybe a little less bombastic than before. I think this collection is actually better than his latest spring collection. I loved the colour blue he used a lot and adore the floor-length gowns. Bravo!
