New York Fashion Week: Marc Jacobs, Badgley Mischka and Hervé Leger

These last few days were kind of impressive. So many good shows, so little time to review them. I hope I will be able to talk about some more shows later. For now I’ll give my opinion about Marc Jacobs, Badgley Mischka and Hervé Leger.

Marc Jacobs
Yes I am a Marc Jacobs fan. Though I don’t always love his work immediately. I didn’t immediate like his Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2011 collection (and I wrote that), but now I do. When I first saw his latest collection yesterday, I thought I didn’t like it, but now already I think I do. The weird thing is that I have the feeling that lots of people think about Jacobs’ work like that. And that’s why he’s so fashion-forward. People start to love, and therefore imitate it, a while after they’ve seen it for the first time.
Badgley Mischka
Very, very, very pretty and glamorous as always. Badgley Mischka, a Hollywood favourite. Mark Badgley and James Mischka created a collection with all kinds of shades of grey, some pinks, blues, purples and of course blacks. New in this collection are the more casual pieces.
Hervé Leger by Max Azria
To describe Hervé Leger I need only a few words: super sexy, ultra tight and very recognizable. Nevertheless I just still adore it! BTW, never thought those bondage dresses would look so good with riding boots!
