Paris Fashion Week: Chloé and Emanuel Ungaro

Unfortunately I didn’t have the time to write something yesterday. Today I have some time, so I’m reviewing a couple of shows today. Tomorrow you’ll definitely read a Chanel review (I LOVED it!), but today I’m writing about Chloé and Emanuel Ungaro.

If I had to describe this collection with only three words, I would probably say: simple, sophisticated and fresh. Those words describe this collection so perfectly in my eyes. It’s a pity there were only a few eveningwear looks, but those few were amazing. Maybe the best pieces of this collection. Though I like the collection, I think it might be too minimalistic and simple sometimes. Just some more colour, prints and exciting details could have given this collection a nice, summer vibe. Now it’s sometimes kind of flat, just as the shoes are.

First of all I loved the setting. At least you know for sure now it’s a spring/summer show (let’s forget the flower décor of Christian Dior Couture fall 2010)! I especially liked the first half of the show. It had a burlesque, thirties style; sexy but chic, and ended with two fantastic evening gowns.

This show featured some cool models: Anna Dello Russo (occasional model, haha?), Alessandra Ambrosio and Ana Beatriz Baros. I love it that in Paris there are actually big names on the runway!
