Milan Fashion Week: D&G, Francesco Scognamiglio, Gianfranco Ferré

D&G
I like this collection! Very wearable, very fashionable. Something girls of my age would love to wear. Girly, but not childish. This whole collection is inspired by Disney’s classic Snow White. Snow White and her beloved seven dwarfs even appear on tanks and tees. The floral prints, bright colours and lovely picnic-plaid-prints make me happy! It’s so positive. D&G is good this season, how will Dolce & Gabbana be?

Francesco Scognamiglio
With this show, Francesco Scognamiglio celebrated the brand’s tenth anniversary. When I watched this show, I thought this is spectacular. Something Lady Gaga could wear. And then I found out she’s a fan, just like Rihanna. Maybe you wouldn’t wear all of these clothes, but you have to admit it’s fun to watch. Lots of volume, contrasts, unusual fabrics, and humour. Loved it!

Gianfranco Ferré
What I admire the most of this brand, is that it’s always chic, but never boring and sexless. Women could wear this to their work and both look representative and sexy. I personally adore the tuxedo jumpsuits and bondage evening gowns. Two perfect examples of the combination of chic and sexy in one piece. Of course it’s not really normal to go working in an evening gown (or cool minidresses to go out), but you know what I mean.
